On Tuesday Tyler had his second field trip. This time we went to Tougas Farm for Apple & Pumpkin picking. I think we're becoming quite the pros at all this fruit picking we've done this year (strawberries, apples, raspberries, apples again & now pumpkins). We started out on a . . . I guess I can't call it a hay ride since there wasn't any "hay" but a tractor ride. It took us out to the orchards were we picked apples. We even learned the correct way to pick them (twist off not yank).
Then we walked across to the pumpkin patch and Tyler picked a real nice one.
After all that hard work we had some donuts and boy were they yummy. (yes mommy had one too) They reminded me of the donuts my grandma Anderson used to make. (I think she used to make them around Halloween too). After our snack we headed to the playground.
That's Tyler with one of his friends from school on the tractor.
