Family Night Part Deux

Tonight we had our family night and Tyler chose to play games. We played a little Bingo and Zingo and then got our sillies out with Hullabaloo.












Kendall even tried to play and she did better than we thought she'd do. As you can see Tyler is a pro at this game.
That blur is Tyler jumping to the broccoli. I did have to remind daddy that this game is intended for 4 year olds when he said "That's all it is". I think he was thinking it was twister. So anyway we all had a blast being together. I think the kids are really enjoying our family night activities so I'm really glad we started this tradition. I'll leave off with Tyler and his Hullabaloo dance.

Ice Hockey in No Time

Tyler started his second session on ice today and it made me think that I didn't post the video I took of his last class a couple of weeks ago. Sadly though as I was compiling the video I realized that I must have been confused with the record & stop buttons because almost all the footage was taken with the camera facing the ground. ugh! What was I thinking! I didn't figure it out until the end of class so there is only a bit of my lame video. I didn't get much of Tyler skating and he had done such a great job that last class. Oh well, there will be plenty of times for me to get more footage I'm sure. In the meantime enjoy this:

Animal Adventures

Today the Family Network had someone come by from a "zoo" called Animal Adventures. I wasn't sure what to expect; Tyler thought there would be tigers and bears but I was pretty sure that wasn't going to be the case. What we did end up seeing was a skunk, hedgehog, dragon, ferret, snakes, cockroach, alligator and the like.












It was perfect for the kids. Tyler was a little scared at first but seeing Kendall touch all the animals I think put him at ease and he started petting things too. Kendall really has no fear. And yes if you noticed in some of the pictures that Tyler has one nasty shiner!

Happy Valentines Day!

Well we are finally back online and I'd just like to wish everyone a wonderful Valentines. Don't you just love the Valentines mommy made?












Mommy thought she did quite a good job on them. Anyway because of all the computer problems we've had as of late I thought I'd mention one (of many) things I love right now (you know besides my kids, husband, family, friends, blah blah blah). Our new Computer! Though I basically lost everything on Outlook everything else about the computer is great. And I love that there are no wires anywhere. No big CPU under the desk, nothing. It's all in the monitor. Anyway this was a wonderful Valentines present. Kevin and I are going out tomorrow night for our little Valentines date night, should be a good time. Happy Valentines!

Happy Birthday Jack!

I have to make this quick, not because of the topic but because our computer monitor is out and I can barely make out the screen. So there will probably not be many updates (if any) until we get a new computer or screen. But I didn't want today to go by without wishing our favorite pet, Jack, a Happy Birthday. He's gone a little further down the totem pole, so to speak, but we still love him lots for his loyalty and love he has for us. Happy Birthday Jack!
