On Saturday I took a little bus ride down to New York with a couple of friends. It was a lot of fun.
We just stayed in the Times Square area because that's where we were dropped off and had lunch then went to a show and we didn't have much time to travel anywhere else.
There is so much to see in NY and I hope eventually I'll get to see it all because honestly I'm getting a bit sick of Times Square. I really want to head over to Central Park again and also see Grand Central Station. I guess I'll just have to plan more visits! Anyway we did have a great time, the bus ride seemed short because we chatted away for 3 hours there and 3 hours back. 
We had lunch at a Druse restaurant which is basically Turkish food. 
We walked around a bit in Times Square, saw of course the Naked Cowboy!
Then went to the show Avenue Q.
It was labeled as Sesame Street meets South Park and that's rightly identified. 
It's really funny. 
We got a hot dog from a street vendor and cupcakes from a yummy bakery Crumbs and sat on the steps of St. Patrick's and enjoyed it all.
That was our day in a nut shell. I can't wait to do it again.
